The Ajay Devgn and Tabu led romantic thriller, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha, is headed to take a disastrous start at the box office in India. As on Thursday morning, the Neeraj Pandey film has sold less than 1000 tickets across the top 3 national chains – PVR. Inox & Cinepolis. To put context to this, the pre-sales for Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha is even lower than the July 12 disaster, Sarfira starring Akshay Kumar.

Interestingly, makers have announced a discount offer for the film but this had a little impact on the ticket sales as there is hardly any interest for consumption of the film on big screen. The first day business of Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha could send shock waves in industry.

The second release of the week, Ulajh, has recorded even worse pre-sales at the ticket windows. The Janhvi Kapoor led thriller has sold less than 750 tickets across the top 3 national chains, and this in itself could seal the fate of the film.

The thriller could open under a crore and this spells disaster. Things don’t look bright for both the films at this point of time and it will take a miracle from here for their fate to change.
